Mombasa is Kenya's main tourist destination. It is located on Indian Ocean shores, Eastern coastline of Kenya and is a very popular destination for its beaches. Mombasa was ruled by the Portuguese, Arabs and British and originated back in the 16th century.

“Nyama choma” (barbequed meats) are a Kenyan favourite, authentic and the most popular traditional Kenyan grilled meat. It is served with a kachumbari salad and a variety of carbs. You get either goat, pork, beef or chicken. Traditional Swahili dishes are also served at most places, and are highly recommended.
