ALS is a prime aircraft leasing campany in Kenya and the whole eastern Africa. It all started in 1985 when Aslam Khan, previously a Kenya Airways Captain and Ashraf Khan, an Aircraft Engineer at Wilson Airport, Nairobi, purchased a Cessna 150 which they leased out to a local Flying School. In 1999, they joined hands with other affiliated companies and formed ALS Limited now a successfully Aircraft Leasing Company.
In October 1999, Aircraft Leasing Services together with other smaller affiliated companies joined hands and formed ALS Limited. This ALS Limited is now prides itself with a fleet of 28 fixed wing aircraft and two helicopters and is the single major shareholder of Safarilink Aviation, Kenya’s leading tourist airline. Safarilink flies to all major tourist destinations within the region. ALS Limited provides services to major regional international organisations including several United nations agencies and NGOs in various missions.
